tis the season to be naughty
this is halloween!
Thank you for offering any of these fandoms ♥
I tried to make this as skim-friendly as possible. The tl;dr of it all is that if you touch on anything I mention liking even slightly — and as I'm sure you'll realize, I have a lot of things that I like — I'll be elated. Please take my note at the top seriously, pick whatever you like to write, and burn the rest of it!
If there's a fandom I've requested in the past that catches your treating-eye (especially for the purposes of the Challenge), go for it. I love them all still ♥
GENERAL LIKES | TRICKS | TREATS | ART | DISLIKES
CLASS | CRUISING | DOWNTON ABBEY | OUTLANDER
ROCKETMAN | SUCCESSION | WESTWORLD
Established relationships are kind of my jam because I love seeing how people get along after they've gotten together; that's where the really interesting stuff shows up for me. The day to day of their lives and intricacies therein fascinate me endlessly — this is also why I'm into so many soap fandoms, haha. How do they fit one another into their routine? What things do they do (or don't do) because they've got that other person in their lives?
That said, get-togethers are also my bread and butter and I've yet to meet one I didn't like.
⸰ Fucked-up, unhealthy relationships! Codependent relationships, obsessive relationships, and so on: you can be giving it all to me. I love when a character is willing to literally let the world burn should the world try to come between them and the person they love.
Them doing questionable things or neglecting themselves to make their partner happy. I love it when they put themselves or the other person in precarious situations just so they can have their desired outcome; letting the ends justify the means. My favorites are when the characters know — be it fully or a suspicion — that what they're feeling, and the degree to which they're feeling it, isn't healthy, but they enjoy it so much they can't bring themselves to care. Them being equally, fuck-up-ed-ly invested in their relationship is what I live for.
⸰ Rather than miscommunication causing drama, I love it when bluntness and frankness cause that tension instead. Characters saying what they want or what they've done, point-blank, and then leaving it to the other character to decide if they can handle that; quiet characters taking their time and really mulling over their choices before telling the other person what they want.
⸰ Stories that starts in the "middle"/in medias res of the overarching plot. I don't need a lot of world-building setup, especially if that's not something you're super into doing. If you've decided to take up one of my AU or CANON DIVERGENCE ideas, I already know the basic background of what's going and you are welcome to go right on ahead with the action of the story.
However, if half the fun of AUs/divergences involves delving deep into the universe and making yourself at home there, go wild!
⸰ I love codas, alternate canons, semi-alternate universes, and canon divergences, and/or slight changes to canon. I also love established relationships and domesticity. If you want to write me slice-of-life that details their routine or daily life, I'll eat it up.
⸰ Anything from G-rated schmoop to NC-17 sex is alright in my book.
Should you write a sex scene, here’s a general list of kinks/scenarios that I'm cool with:
⸰ Here are a list of trick-leaning (feel free to make them treats!) categories that my requests can help to fill:
⸰ I live for really getting into the nitty-gritty of characters/relationships. There no such thing as too domestic or too established for me — I love seeing a character grow and change without any extreme outside forces or major drama because so much of the person we become is formed by the people we know, the thing we do (or don't do) each day. It's a gradual process that has us ending up miles away from where we started, I find that fascinating to read about.
⸰ Here are a list of treat-leaning (feel free to make them tricks!) categories that my requests can help to fill:
⸰ In terms of color palettes and style/mood/composition, I'm into Renaissance, Impressionism, Fauvism, Luminism, Surrealism, and Baroque Art. So I guess I like the interplay of dark/light and shadows; a close focus on the character involved and the background can vary from nothingness to a whole piece in itself.
⸰ From a design perspective, intentionally 'sketchy' and rough-looking things + watercolors that go "outside" the lines and look beautifully wobbly are also deeply entrenched into my aesthetic. As are practically all the Realistic, comic-book, and similar styles!
I'm not an artist to any degree so, basically, anything you create will be impressive as hell to me. I'm still green at prompting art so if you need any more followup, feel free to leave an anon comment and/or contact me through the mod.
⸰ Whump/excessive angst wherein the majority of the fic is self-pity/sadness or miscommunications, and a tiny section at the end is happy/resolution; if from the outside, or as an observer, the events are sad but the character(s) living that reality as their everyday life are happy, content, and/or blind to it, then that's fine! I dislike when half or more of the fic focused on someones sadness/angst and how they react or wallow in said angst.
⸰ Embarrassment/humiliation (kink or otherwise), painplay/torture kink, cheating/infidelity, high school/university au, yentas/matchmaking/meddling friends, polyamory, epistolary, crossdressing, noncon (wherein one half completely hates the sex; if they come to like it/are mindbroken, we're good!), genderswap/always-a-[opposite gender], unrequested relationships.
⸰ No preference between past and present tense, although I prefer 3rd-Person Narration well above all others.
⸰ Not a fan of crossovers (some exceptions noted in their respective fandom sections), but fusions are always cool.
An Succession fusion with Crusing where Kendall works out his stress on the leather on scene would be great. Rocketman fused with Downton, wherein Elton is a wayward closeted footman looking for love is very much related to my interests. Class fused with Outlander that has Matteusz getting timewarped into a magical historical land where a warrior with dubeous morality would do anything for him? I love.

( quick note )
- ⸰ Prompts are formatted to (hopefully!) work for the less-is-more writer and the more-is-more writer. The top level prompt suggestions are generalized, complete ideas. Know what you want to write now? Great!
- If you come up with an idea that’s similar to a prompt, go for it! If ¾ of a prompt works for you, but the final ¼ doesn’t, only work with the bit that does. I’d also love to see prompts mixed. All these general questions and ideas following the top-level exist just in case you want more to work with.
GENERAL LIKES!
⸰ Strong relationships! I'm super into reading about how relationships work: their unique dynamics, how they support one another, how they relate to each other, how they interact [pre-, post-, and during-canon when “offscreen”], where their wants and needs mesh up, as well as where they differ. ⸰ Anything from G-rated schmoop to NC-17 sex is alright in my book.
Should you write a sex scene, here’s a general list of kinks/scenarios that I'm cool with:
age regression, age differences, underage, made-them-do-it, a/b/o, water sports (for marking/scenting and/or intimacy; less about being super into pee or humiliation), conditioning, frottage, gentleness, identity porn/anonymous sex, rough sex, marking, switching/no set sexual “roles”, possessiveness, power issues, abuse of power, dubcon, semi-public sex, sensory overload, sex addiction/compulsion, silence, d/S that’s focused on taking care/being cared for more than pain/humiliation, size differences and power dynamics — feel free to have the "smaller”/younger/more docile dude be more "dominant”/aggressive member of the relationship —, touching, slavefic, delayed emotional intimacy paired with very quick physical intimacy, captivity.⸰ Tropes that I never fail to love:
forced closeness, amnesia, viking
au, gladiator/greek/roman au, tribe/barbarian/pre-history au, android aus, western/rancher/farmer aus, trope inversions & subversions, d/s that’s focused on taking care/being cared for more than pain/humiliation, soul mates/soul bonds, fake relationships, forced/arranged marriages, woke up married, bodyswaps, bodyswaps with themselves in a different multiverse, gentleness, stuck in isolation together, sex before feelings, bodyswaps, exploring physical disabilities (losing sight/hearing/the ability to a speak).
TRICKS!
⸰ Let me just say that I strongly believe that every fandom is made better by applying the ol' everything is the same except [supernatural aspect]. Vampires, ghosts, werewolves, zombies, shape-shifters, demons, aliens, superheroes, villains, wizards, the list goes on and I like them all. ⸰ Here are a list of trick-leaning (feel free to make them treats!) categories that my requests can help to fill:
Trapped, Abuse, Devils, War, Grim Reapers, Dub Con, Nightmares, Serial Killers, Horror, Dusk, Dark, Demons, Witches, Were-creatures, Kinks, Incest/Family, Bad Ending/Bad guy "wins", Vampires, Zombies, Ghosts, Underage
TREATS!
⸰ As mentioned in the tricks section, if you want to add some paranormal or supernatural elements to an otherwise fluffy or domestic fic, I say go for it all the way. I am completely fine with a hybrid tricky-treat of a fic. Blur those lines! As long as the ending is a happy-ish one, don't worry about your treat not being treat-y enough.⸰ I live for really getting into the nitty-gritty of characters/relationships.
Cudddling/Snuggling, Folklore, Historical, Identity Porn,Future Fic, Elves, Fae & Fairies, Acceptance, Hope, Communication, LGBTQ Themes, Dreams, Humor, Happy Ending, Kisisng, Friendship, Fluff, Cemetary, Pining, Samhain, Halloween, Autumn, Mature/Explicit, 5+1 Things, Alterative Universes (Canon Divergence), Works Involving at least three individuals in a relationship, M/M, art
ART!
⸰ I like genre scenes, still life, and/or things that look like they could be proudly displayed in the middle of a chapter, or even as the 'cover' of a comic book, novel, or DVD box.

DISLIKES!
⸰ Deathfic as an ending. If they’re brought back to life via the supernatural, reincarnation, turned into a cyborg, etc — or the story continues on in the afterlife, I'm good. As long as the story doesn't end with "[…] and they died, the end", you're fine.

CLASS (TV 2016) MATTEUSZ ANDRZEJEWSKI
Stream it on iPlayer or here.
♡ I ship Matteusz/Charlie but would be intrigued by Matteusz/Ram or Matteusz/OMC if you have any good ideas knocking around your head!
CANON
- ⸰ "I wish for you."
- Charlie is a supernatural creature that Matteusz summoned. Canon hinted at just how bad Matteusz' life was before Charlie showed up. Be it him still being an interdimensional alien, or a demon, or anything else you'd like: Charlie came to Earth because of Matteusz wishing, summoning, whatever.
How does this change things? Does it mean that the Rhodians died because of Matteusz? Does Charlie care in the end? Does Matteusz? In this universe is Charlie merely ripped away from Rhodia? Did he fit in there or is he happy to be gone? What's they're dynamic like? - Rhodian culture is ruthless and Matteusz is the only thing keeping Charlie from his own worst instincts. It's a big thing to put on a relationship, especially between young men. Matteusz doesn't have that much of a problem with it, though. Why is that?
Is he naturally domineering? Do he and Charlie have an agreement where Charlie takes over some of Matteusz choices in return for Matteusz being his moral compass?
⸰ There's a reason Charlie's people don't love as humans do.
⸰ "What happened to our pacifist Pol who didn't like guns?" "We will speak of this after, but that is our business."
⸰ Being afraid and yet still loving.
POST-CANON
- ⸰ Charlie doesn't trust himself, and so he leaves the decision making to Matteusz.
- How far does it go? Is it only universe-related choices? Does it trickle down into the daily choices of their lives? How do they feel about this?
- Give me domestic, fucked-out bliss that can only be achieved during a convienent filler episode to break up the monsters of the week.
⸰ "By the way, Matteusz lives with us now."
CANON DIVERGENCE + ALTERNATE CANON
- ⸰ It's Earth that is devoured by the Shadowkin, and Matteusz is the only human rescused by the doctor. He's taken to Rhodia.
- Matteusz really thought that his morality was sound and that he wouldn't ever be able to forgive Charlie for it. He underestimated just how deep his love was, and how much he's willing to forgive and excuse.
- Charlie doesn't care much for football but he likes the look of the man who just stepped out onto the pitch.
- Fic writes itself! Give me that sweet, sweet Tolkien Middle Earth AU.
⸰ Charlie goes full evil overlord.
⸰ Matteusz as an athlete
⸰ Matteusz' boyfriend may or may not be a sociopath that feels no empathy for anyone but him. He tries not to feel so guilty over how much he enjoys this and the power he experiences over keeping Charlie from doing awful things.
⸰ "Don't go where I cannot follow."
CRUISING (1980) TED BAILEY
Stream it here.
♡ I ship Ted/Steve and Ted/OMC.
CANON
- ⸰ Ted and Steve hook up!
- So much of the film is Steve lusting after Ted and wanting very desperatly to get fucked in general. What if he and Ted actually had an opportunity to bang? Would anything change? Would it help to mellow Steve out, or wouldd it lead to Ted's corruption?
POST-CANON
- ⸰ Ted haunts Steve
CANON DIVERGENCE + ALTERNATE CANON
- ⸰ Ted knows that Steve is the killer. Steve knows that Ted knows.
- Nobody cared about Ted's writing until he started writing "fiction" all about Steve's antics. Does Ted feel bad about exploiting other people's deaths...or does he get a thrill out of what Steve does?
- Does Ted living change anything about the ending?
- Steve may or may not be the killer, but he is the one that takes out Gregory. How does Ted react? Is he terrified? Does Steve think that Ted is "his" now that they have this horrible secret to share? Is Ted flattered that someone finally cares enough about him to make such a grand gesture?
- A cute new guy moves in next door to Ted's and he can't say he isn't intrigued. The leather scene's never done much for him, but something about Steve has him wondering if it might be his scene after all.
- Go wherever your mind takes you. True Blood I'll-make-you-love-me-forever-with-our-blood-connection vampires, Interview With The Vampire I've-decided-you're-mine-so-I'm-turning-you vampires, Fright Night I-move-from-city-to-city-with-my-supernatural-boyfriend vampires, go for it.
⸰ Steve saves Ted from the killer.
⸰ Steve kills Gregory
⸰ Ditch the murder, keep the kink.
⸰ Vampirism instead of serial killer-ism
DOWNTON ABBEY THOMAS BARROW
Stream it on Amazon or iTV Hub or here + the film in theatres now or here.
♡ I ship Thomas/anyone with a dick (save Bates, Carson, & Robert), including but not limited to Thomas/Richard Ellis, Thomas/moustache dude who took Thomas to the club, Thomas/Edward, Thomas/Matthew, Thomas/Tom, Thomas/Henry, Thomas/Andy, Thomas/OMC.
PRE-CANON
- ⸰ Thomas during the London Season
- Seems like the happiest time of Thomas' life (not counting the very optimistic open ending the film gave us) was when Thomas was staying in London with Robert. Gimmie all the details about this. We know he bagged one Duke — were they monogamous? Was Thomas juggling multiple well-to-do men? I just want Thomas being courted and the belle of the ball, please.
- ⸰ Thomas and Richard bonding
- They clearly enjoyed one another very much and got on life gangbusters!! Show me the missing scenes that the movie denied us.
- Honestly you can give me 300 words of all those men being very interested in fresh meat when it comes in the shape of Thomas, and Thomas getting All The Kisses and Offers To Dance (& gropes) before the police raid kicks off.
⸰ Thomas at the club
⸰ "[Thomas] has always tried to find love as well, he's not been scared to go for it. He doesn't want to end up alone."
⸰ The books Thomas uses to help teach Andy to read are a little...queer. How is Andy suppposed to learn any of this if he's turned on half the time?
POST-CANON
- ⸰ It's Thomas that Henry is enamoured with
- The man has very little shame and is very crafty. How would he steal Thomas away from the Crawley's? Would he mind very much if Thomas didn't want to leave, or would he suppose that Thomas would come around eventually?
- Catching up on their days off, writing to one another — slight fandom-specific exception too my epistolary DNW being that if the letters aren't the entirety of the fic, I wouldn't mind them for this canon; I'd rather they be written in 3rd than 1st but if that's how you'd prefer to write them then I can do my best! — and perhaps Richard coming through where all other mThomas, and getting Thomas a job in the royal household/nearby so they can truly be with one another.
- Werewolves, vampires, some other more niche form of supernatural being: lets! go!
- (George can be whatever age you like and the romantic nature of their relationship can be as explicit or chaste as you like.)
The age difference isn't great. And Thomas isn't a fan of being bossed around by a lord that hasn't even really gotten his title yet — but there is something to be said for being so desired, and what better way to give a final Fuck You to the family than by hitching his lot to the one member of the family that's only ever really valued him.
⸰ Visits between Richard and Thomas
⸰ A member of the upper class passing through Downton takes a liking to Thomas, and offers him the valet position Thomas has always craved. It's only after he's returned to the man's house that he realizes he may be out of his depth.
⸰ George grows up to be a very spoiled and entitled teenager and it's probably Thomas' fault as much as any of theirs. George is also gay and nobody but his Barrow will do.
CANON DIVERGENCE + ALTERNATE CANON
- ⸰ Deal with the devil
- Thomas is lonely, miserable, and willing to do anything to change those two things. Instead of falling for a conversion therapy scam, he turns to older, more dark methods to bring himself happiness and end his loneliness at all costs.
- A man can only take so much. Surrounded by excess — and perhaps after losing Edward to the cruelty of the Crawley's and their army hospital? — Thomas turns to killing those that don't deserve to live.
Up to you who serves as Lovett, but I'm partial to the idea of Tom's radicalism being a big less pacifist as he encourages Thomas to take up his straight razors, or Richard having a similar arrangement with the royals in London. - When passing through Downton with Norrel, Childermas sees all the potential in Thomas and convinces Norrell to take him on?
The Crawley's play host to Strange, who develops a quick obsession with Thomas?
Thomas may or may not have met his new friend Segundas at a molly house, and they use the cover of meeting to discuss theoretical magic as a cover for...less reputable things?
Thomas gets hired on to help at Starecross? - Thomas is still in domestic service, but being gay isn't a death sentence. We even have openly gay royals now! Very attractive ones! Attractive ones that seem to have hunted Thomas outside on his smoke break and are being very flirty, oh dear.
- The Edwardian era is the worst of all worlds for Thomas! We can do deeper!!! I'm happy for you to pull from real-life examples of historical m/m couples within royalty or to make up your own.
Thomas as some King's favourite a la Richard the Lionhart and Philip II, or James VI & I and Esme/Robert. Thomas as a lower-range royal raised up into the court a la Phillippe d'Orleans and Chevalier de Lorraine or Gaviston and Edward II. Your choice as to who is the king, or if Thomas is the king and someone else is his favourite! Give me Thomas being spoiled and loved and indulged during a time when kings were gods and nobody could stop them! - Don't ask me why. I feel like he, Spiers, and Nixon would get on like a house on fire. Perhaps one of the BoB boys is the man he's been waiting for all along, I dunno!
- Make it crack, play it straight, I just want Thomas to get the love he deserves!!
⸰ Thomas Barrow: The Demon Footman of Downton Street
⸰ Thomas gets fed up with service and joins monastery as a last-ditch effort. It's the best thing he's ever done in his life.
⸰ AU where homophobia isn't a thing
⸰ Breaking my crossover DNW: Downton meets Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell?
⸰ Modern Day
⸰ Even more historical settings
⸰ Push up the timeline and give me Thomas in Band of Brothers!
⸰ Downton as a harem anime where every single good looking guy is trying to get with Thomas
OUTLANDER (TV) JONATHAN BLACK JACK RANDALL
Stream it on STARZ or here.
♡ I ship Black Jack/Jamie, Black Jack/Alexander Randall, & Black Jack/OMC.
PRE-CANON
- ⸰ [eyes emoji] What is up with Jack's obsession with his brother?
CANON
- ⸰ "What did Randall do to you?" "Too much…and not enough."
- Jamie doesn't deal with what happened between them well, and Black Jack would certainly love that.
What if they ran into one another more before Black Jack's death? Is the usual charge between them even more now that they've slept together? Like with John, does Jamie almost position himself/goad Jack into being the aggressor again because he isn't willing to do so himself? - Does anyone else get under Jack's skin? Or does Jamie hold the honor?
- What would that look like? How long does it last? Is the man he's with shocked to see what hides behind Jack's facade — or does he relish it?
- Jack gets a second chance at a first impression with Jamie? Does Jamie assume they're together? Does Jack decide to go right for the sadism, or does he realize that it's honey that'll draw Jamie to him quicker than scorn? Does he relish knowing the truth of their relationship when Jamie sweetens for him, or does it bring him unexpected guilt?
Maybe it's Jack that forgets everything and it turns out that he isn't as much of a total bastard when his childhood/etc isn't weighing him down? He's at Jamie's mercy — but Jamie can't bring himself to hurt him? Or maybe he wants to get revenge and even out the scales of their abusive past, but without their background as context, Jack doesn't see any of it as a punishment, no matter what it is Jamie throws at him?
⸰ "One way or another, I will get a response from you […] Are you mine? […] Show me you're mine" & "…he made love to me."
⸰ Black Jack's obsession with marking/owning another man in mind, body, and soul.
⸰ Had Jack ever had a healthy relationship?
⸰ Injury or the weather has Jack and [Jamie/OMC?] shacked up together for a good long while?
⸰ Good ol' fashioned amnesia trope
- ⸰ Arranged marriages?
- The English take Highlands for good and to rub the victory in to the clans, they force the resistance leader into marrying their most sadistic captain? Do they come to love one another in their way? Is it minor domestic wars that neither of them is willing to lose, punctuated by hatesex for the victor?
The Randalls have an agreement with the Frasers for such-and-such son to be promised to the other? Is it a full-on marriage or an indentured servitude situation that becomes more? - Scotland has control over England, with Jamie constantly chasing after the troublesome rebel Black Jack? Jamie doesn't have the same sadistic streak as Jack; how would that change their dynamic? For all that he's a sadist, Jack certainly has a masochistic streak when it comes to his interactions with Jamie, so what would he be like in trying to convince Jamie to be with him? Just how much would he put himself and his cause at risk over that Jamie-sized boner of his?
- Jack is an uber-wealthy businessman that goes to HighlanderWorld every chance he gets, all to act out his fantasies on a Host called [OMC/Jamie]? Does Jack start to notice that the host is gaining sentience? Does that change how he feels about treating the host the way he does? Does he not care at all?
Jack and [Jamie/OMC] are hosts in HighlanderWorld? In a previous narrative they were a homesteader couple but in their current loop their bitter rivals? What happens when the reveries have them remembering more and more of their past lives? - Jack either further in the past or well into the future would allow him to indulge in his passion for men? Would that mellow him out at all, or would it mean that he's hitting up hedonistic functions to get his jollies while still being the evil bastard we know?
Black Jack and Jamie as rival politicians, clansmen, knights, farmers, gladiators, ship captains, Roman Senators — constantly at one another's throats for reasons they don't even know why until it spills over into a release of passion? - Interview with the Vampire: Highlands edition.
Jack turns [Jamie/OMC] and is his progeny/packmate. How does that impact their relationship? The plot? Is the bond so strong that they don't even want to fight this newfound connection/kinship, or do those individualistic streaks light up and make them fight?
If werewolves, do they only feel the pull during the moon? Can young vampires only stay away from their makers for so long before they need a dose of their blood?
This is inspired by the great work Heughan and Menzies did with their body composition during those scenes and how it looks way too much like your typical sexy vampire turning sequences. That and the whole "you owe me a debt [by promising to kill me after we fucked]" and Jack 100% being the type to be like ok I'll end…your human life! type of motherfucker.

ROCKETMAN (2019) ELTON JOHN, JOHN REID, OR BERNIE TAUPIN
Stream it here.
♡ I ship John/Elton, Elton/Bernie, John/Bernie, John/Elton/Bernie, Bernie/Ray, John/Ray, Elton/Ray, or any of them/OMC.
PRE-CANON
- ⸰ To all the men that helped turn John into the piece of work he is today
CANON
- ⸰ Groundhog Day
- John reliving one of the days where he's at his most vile. What breaks the loop — finally being compassionate, or shifting the bar even lower for himself?
Bernie feeling like he already gives Elton so much but realizing that there perhaps there was more that he could do?
Elton needing to make a choice and what the courage/strength to do that manifests as...? - Take it any way you please. We know that he wasn't the nicest person during the period that the film encompassed. Do he and John bring out the worst in one another, and they both kind of love it? Is nobody able to bring Bernie down as low as Elton manages, even when Bernie's trying his best not to feed into it?
The flip side is also welcome. Elton is a sweetheart and just wants love. How does Elton react when John/Bernie/OMC treat him right? Has he got a praise kink? Does he turn it right back around and return that love tenfold by spoiling the object of his affection. - As much as I love fucked up stuff, I'm a sucker for schmoop too. Give me the domesticity of Bernie and Elton living with one another in such tight quarters in the Dwight residence. The honeymoon period between Elton and John where they were free to be kind with one another and it was non-stop ~learning what their bodies were good at with one another.
- Kissing, cuddling, hair playing, wandering around in one's underwear and threesomes seeming to crop up at every opportunity.
- As seen in canon or as dreamt up in your most dastardly of minds.
Bernie hates to toy with Elton's emotions like this, but he's willing to say and do anything if it'll get him away from John once and for all.
Elton tells himself that all he does is give and give to the man in his life, but he's exceptionally good at taking.
Things can't be bad with John all the time. What sorts of things does he pull out (and when/why?) to make sure there's still enough good feeling between them that Elton just can't bring himself to leave. (Gaslighting to make Elton think there's good times counts too if that's your thing.)
There's a certain kind of man that Bernie likes, and John's it. He feels so guilty about it that he cuts himself off from Elton...but that doesn't stop him from meeting up with John all the while.
⸰ Elton gives as good as he gets
⸰ Happy periods
⸰ Tactile affection
⸰ Straightforward language is hard; expressing your love in songs can't fail, right?
⸰ Bernie feels awful but he really can't help but see Elton as anything but a brother. Now Ray/John/OMC...that's another story.
⸰ Un 👏 health 👏 y 👏 Re 👏 la 👏 tion 👏 ships 👏
CANON DIVERGENCE + ALTERNATE CANON
- ⸰ John was actually a trick that Bernie hired to help Elton a) actually enjoy California and b) finally squash his crush on Bernie.
- It's possible it was a huge mistake on his part. Why though?
Did losing Elton's affection make Bernie realize that maybe he didn't mind it so much after all? Did John's cover story work so well that Elton made a hustler his manager without realizing the truth? Has John latched on to his cash cow and refuses to let it go - and Elton's so enamored that he doesn't even mind? - I loved ranch/farm/old west AUs and two of the nerds in the tagset love country. Give me a good ol' fashioned farmer au. Make up or your own or go full Brokeback or Gods Own Country, I'll love 'em all.
- It's lonely out in space!
Is Elton a The Martian-type (stranded?) astronaut or is this a future where it is a manual-labor-ish job as the song suggests? Is Bernie/John/OMC up there with him, or waiting for him back on Earth...or is he a figment of Elton's contact-starved imagination? Is he an alien lifeform? Are we talking Vulcans here or something more terrifying?
Pick the space au/fusion of your heart and run with it. - Literal Angel Bernie is doing the best he can to keep Elton, his charge, on the right path. Too bad Literal Demon John is so much more alluring, especially when he's able to commit sins of the flesh that Bernie's too scared to offer up. (Bonus round: John's so good at his job that he goes after Bernie too? Or was always after Bernie in the first place, depending on your shipping interests.)
Elton and/or John are demons with different tactics/means of getting what they want, though they have the same endgame in mind. They've set their sights on Bernie. - Elton's love keeps John alive quite literally. All of Elton's talent comes from his partnership with Bernie, or vice versa.
Do they know it from the start? How is it revealed if they were unaware? How does the fed-off party feel? IS it a violation or do they use it to their advantage because hey, at least it means he can't leave him, right? - Have fun and go wild.
John as an asshole EMT who hitches his wagon to a cute boy. John as an evil lord that sees the vaguely-global-warning themed writing on the wall and makes sure to secure himself a marriage to one of the most eligible bachelors in the realm, said bachelors consent to such a thing entirely optional. John as a bodyguard with issues whos assignment may need saving from John more than anything else.
Bernie the ballet dancer who makes nice with a gifted pianist or snooty fellow-dancer. Bernie fucking about in Rome. Bernie as a superhero!
Elton as a spy that can't stop hooking up with an agent from a rival branch that just isn't good for him. Elton finding true love in the trenches of WWII. Elton as the sucky athlete the entire nation can't help but cheer on. Elton as the boyfriend of a very fucked up crime boss. (Something something Robin Hood.)
⸰ The Nightmare Before Christmas but Elton is Jack Skellington and you can literally do whatever else you want.
⸰ Going back to my plow!

⸰ Angel/Demon AU

SUCCESSION (TV 2018) KENDALL ROY
Stream it on HBO or here.
♡ I ship Kendall/Stewy, Kendall/Lawrence, Kendall/Roman, Kendall/Greg(ory), Kendall/Tom, Kendall/OMC.
PRE-CANON
- ⸰ Kendall and Stewy's University Days
- It's a good thing Kendall had Stewy by his side during the drug haze of his college days...or is it? Unlimited bonus points for more-into-Stewy-than-Stewy-is-into-him pining!Kendall who gives anything and everything for his first real
boyfriend outside of his family's influence. Maybe he knows that Stewy is a moochy asshole that comes from less than him and is milking the cash cow and he's already in too deep to care (and hopes that maybe Stewy will thaw to him)? Maybe he doesn't realize it at all and it hits him hard when he does? - Kendall notices early on that Roman is Logan's punching bag and he doesn't like it. He wants Roman to start developing positive connotations to being treated like garbage and humiliated so that he isn't so devastated every time their dad goes Full Logan. He's just trying to be a good big brother, you know? It's not his fault that Roman steamrolls right into puberty and won't stop acting out so that Kendall has to "scold" and "punish" him.
- (Inspired by one of the greatest Malcolm in the Middle episodes of all time.) Tell me you can't see Roman making some kind of argument like "it isn't gay if it's incest and it isn't really incest if it's gay since they can't have mongoloid babies!" as if it all cancels out.
Some strange show of progressivism to piss off their father leads to them acting out by "pretending" to be gay. But Logan doesn't care, because he isn't really that much of a bigot and he literally could not be used to give a fuck about his children? They take it one step further by "pretending" to be gay with one another, with full-on kissing sessions that they are sure to have Logan walk in on?? Does Logan care then? Does his condemnation push them farther, or does their father's apathy make them act even more outrageous? When does it end...if ever?
Is it something they'll pull out/reference just to get at Logan, or does it become its own kind of defense mechanism as the only way they're able to be kind to one another without fear of betrayal?
⸰ Kendall is the source of Roman's "thing"
⸰ Gay Chicken Gone Awry
- ⸰ Kendall has this ritual before he gets into business with someone: he lets them fuck his brains out.
- Lawrence (and his husband/boyfriend?) and/or Stewy are very surprised to be on the receiving end of this, but hey, when do you have a chance to have your way with American Royalty?
- Pretty clear Kendall being the one to step in to protect Roman isn't a new thing. Give me all the times this has happened before. Given the violence and vitriol that's so common amongst the Roys, why is Roman off-limits for Kendall?
- Kendall talking Greg(ory) into going out to dinner with him every night. Kendall taking Greg(ory) on destination vacations on the weekends. Kendall texting Greg(ory) most of the day. Kendall getting trashed and sleeping in Greg(ory)'s bed. Greg(ory) reading the signals wrong and making a move on Kendall...and Kendall going with it because he's so damn broken and any company/touch is good at this point, even Greg(ory) the Egg's.
- His life is so much better when he doesn't have to make any decisions on his own.
⸰ "Hey! No! Don't fucking touch him!"
⸰ The whole thing with Kendall getting Greg(ory) to move into his old place and then inviting himself right back in
⸰ After literally shitting the bed, Kendall accepts that he is a fucking mess and that nobody in his family can or will help him. So he hires a dom.
CANON DIVERGENCE + ALTERNATE CANON
- ⸰ Logan gives Kendall to Lawrence as a part of the Vaulter aquisition/Stewy to hold off the takeover
- Actual slavery (AU where it's a thing? canon-compliant where it's just something the uber-rich do under our noses?) or he's-your-bitch enjoy the new underling gamesmanship, I don't have a preference.
Logan is tired of Kendall and so he shifts him off to a new "master". The kid can't be a threat to his hold on the company if he's middle-management, right?
With the Pierce deal done Logan finds himself scrambling. He needs something to get Stewy and Sandy off his ass, and a little bit of digging tells him that Kendall might be his last trump card. - How would Kendall's life be different if he had a 100% ride or die hype man by his side? Would Tom help Kendall stop from sabotaging himself or would his doormat tendencies make him the ultimate enabler, perhaps to the point where Kendall starts to drag him down too? Is Kendall happy for that, or does the guilt make him hate himself even more?
- Bonus points for Stewy being the chaos agent demon that's been assigned to him since birth that's been trying to make this happen all along. Double points if that demon is Greg(ory) since everything started to go wrong for Kendall the minute his cousin showed up.
- The House of Roy as somehow the evilest fucking kingdom in all of Westeros.
Full-on actual Medieval royal succession.
Stewycrantz and Gregenstern try to save their friend Kendall of certain demise.
⸰ Tom is Kendall's Fiance/Husband
⸰ With nothing else to live for at the start of S2, Kendall sells his soul. It goes about as well as you'd expect.
⸰ Historical or Fantasy AU/Fusion
WESTWORLD (TV) LOGAN DELOS
Stream it on HBO or here.
♡ I ship Logan/Akecheta, Logan/Hector, Logan/Major Craddock, Logan/Teddy, Logan/William, & Logan/OMC.
PRE-CANON
- ⸰ Logan has his own "fell in love with a host" backstory.
- [Original Male Host/Akecheta/Craddock — or Hector even though Lee wasn't working there at the time; I don't care] just seems so real that Logan can't help falling in love
- Who was Logan's first boyfriend? He always seems to be looking for sex, but does he ever look for love? Why or why not? Did he have a great love that didn't work out and so he's playing the field when we meet him?
During the trip with William, does Logan have a boyfriend/fiancé himself who doesn't mind him sleeping with hosts? When Logan comes back from that trip broken/raging, does he help put Logan back together for a while? Does he believe Logan about the man William really is?
⸰ Anything about Logan's backstory in general
⸰ Roles that [Craddock/Hector/Akecheta/Teddy/OMH] have held and the ways that Logan always finds new ways to fall for them?
CANON
- ⸰ Different Parks/Worlds
- Logan playing the hero (or villain) in Chronicles of Narnia World? Victorian England/Dorian Gray World?
Meeting Craddock in Sports/MMA Boxer/Kingdom World? American Gods World? Crime Fighting….Hannibal….Justified…World? Hector in Roman-Persian/300 World? Ben-Hur World? Akecheta in Longmire...World? Teddy in X-Men World?
Somewhere else? Futuristic Star Trek/Star Wars World? Overwatch World? Kingdom Hearts/Final Fantasy World? Nightmare Before Christmas world? Whatever! - What's his narrative? Who made him? How close is he to the real deal?
- Anything and everything about The Forge taking Logan's form and how much of it really is Logan.
⸰ Somewhere, in one of the parks, is a Logan Host
⸰ Ghost Logan in the Shell
CANON DIVERGENCE + ALTERNATE CANON
- ⸰ Akecheta takes Logan with him
- A more specific version of Logan being alive in one of the parks!
What if Akecheta took Logan with him instead of leaving him there? How does Logan fit into ghost nation? What would the season have been like if Logan had secretly been a part of what was happening all along? How does Akecheta — and Logan — deal with Logan aging? - What's he up to now? Is he still secretly on the Delos board or did he take his money and run? Has he been with someone for a while or does he find love later in life?
After hearing about what's gone down on the island, does Logan use this as his chance to take Delos over from William? Has he been helping Ford since the start? Is he at the park himself? With the hosts becoming sentient, do he and [Hector/Craddock/Akecheta/Teddy/OMH/OMG] have a chance to fall in love? - This is the reality that Logan and Delores & Maeve deserve!
Does William therefore never "get" it, and so when he takes over the rest of Delos, he leaves WW mainly in Logan's hands as a consolation prize? Does Logan become the rightful heir to the Delos empire because William never has a chance to take over without his WW play?
Does Logan have [Hector/Craddock/Akecheta/Teddy/OMH] brought to the outside world to be his live-in lover, or is he constantly going into the Park to meet with them, a la Ford's private childhood section?
Is there an OMG that has Logan settling down? Do they meet at one of the Parks? Outside of it? Is he on the board? Another CEO? - Except not literally, because Logan doesn't take things out on others and it didn't take him 30 years to figure out the park is a bad idea — but you know, semantics.
What's WW like with a Chaos Agent that likely would have worked with Ford/the hosts rather than serve as their antagonist? Has Logan been pining after and running loops with [Craddock/Akecheta/Teddy/OMH] for years?
Does Logan finally join up with the resistance when Hector shows up? I can't see Logan and Delores getting along, but Maeve and Logan would likely be best pals. Would Logan team up with Hector and the Maeve crew post-revolution just like MiB has with Lawrence? (With Hector taken, would Maeve end up with Clementine!! Or Armistice!! Or Akane!!!)
Would slowly coming to remember his history with Logan be what makes Teddy turn on Delores? Would Akecheta and Logan work under the radar to set the host free sooner? Craddock and Logan bringing down the board with guns blazing? - What park is he in? Is he a "good" guy or a "bad" guy within the narrative? Does he fall in love with [Hector/Craddock/Akecheta/Teddy/OMH] in an act of his growing sentience, or is it a part of his narrative? Does an OMG fall in love with him and realize that Logan is more than he appears?
Does his father need an heir, and so he commissions Logan (and his sister?) to be made by Argos? Does Logan know he's a host, or does he think he's human? How do Craddock/Hector/OMH/OMG play into that?
⸰ [Original Male Host/Original Male Guest] helps Logan kick his bad habits and rebuild his life
