I'm literally cool with anything you come up with, and feel free to use as little or much as the prompts as you like. Change whatever you like, mix and match whatever you like, whatever. Whatever you come up with will be amazing and fine!

Tricks

Vampires, ghosts, werewolves, zombies, shape-shifters, demons, aliens, superpowers: it’s all fine with me. If a character turns into one of the aforementioned during the story, all the better. Anything rated G to NC-17 and beyond; gen or romance is fine. I’m fine with semi-alternative universes or slight changes to canon, so if you want to keep everything the same but except now there’s a supernatural element (i.e. ‘it’s all the same except X was the grim reaper the whole time’, ‘they’re all werewolves! and this is how that changes canon’, ‘oh no! Y got possessed by a demon’, or ‘Z sold their soul to the devil in order to make [blah] happen!’) that’s completely fine and really cool. Complete AUs that are horror or supernatural are also really cool. I like slightly fucked up relationships in general, so anything with a power imbalance (i.e. one of them is the devil, the other is a lowly demon, or one of them is a vampire and the other is said vampires food source) or anything along those lines is fine. I also really love codependency or any similar unhealthy relationship dynamic, so if you wanted to write a horror story without supernatural elements and that was just heavy on the unhealthy relationship aspects, that’s totally cool too. General tropes I like that could go along with the possibly creepy/scary/trick-y plots: soulbonds, android aus, losing sight/hearing/ability to speak, bondage or d/S that's focused on taking care/being cared for rather than pain/humiliation, size differences and power dynamics (feel free to have the "smaller" or more chill/docile dude be more "dominant" or aggressive member of the relationship! always a favorite of my trope inversions), age-gaps (underage is fine), bodyswaps.

First and foremost: I would like to say that if you want to add in some supernatural elements to an otherwise schmoopy or domestic fic, I say go for it all the way!!! I am completely fine with a hybrid tricky-treat of a fic. Blurring the lines is fine, fine, fine. Anything rated G to NC-17 and beyond; gen or romance is fine. Again, I’m fine with complete alternative universes, semi-alternative universes and/or slight changes to canon. All the character-specific prompts in the sections below are halloween-tinged, but you can make them be schmoopy/funny very easily. I’m just trying to keep with the whole Halloween theme! If none of them work for you, feel free to grab from any of the non-spooky tropes directly below this. Second Person Narration is my biggest Do Not Want out there. I’m not a fan of First Person either, but, gun to my head, if it’s a choice between 2nd and 1st POV, then go with first. Other dislikes, to varying degrees of Do Not Want are: crossdressing, gender-swap/always-a-[opposite gender], cheating, issuefic. Character deaths are fine, but I’d rather they not “stay dead”. Them turning into a ghost/specter or ~living beyond~ in heaven/hell is all fine, but if the end of a characters arc is “and they died, the end” my reaction will be something along the lines of, “WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME????” I'm not a fan of crossovers, but fusions are always cool, so if you want to do a Justified fusion with The Nightmare Before Christmas where Dickie is the Pumpkin King, or if you want to fuse Spartacus with Penny Dreadful, where Dr. Nasir first reanimates Duro and then by some stroke of fate manages to bring back his brother Agron too, go for it bro.

AGRON ♡ I ship Agron/Nasir, Agron/Nasir/Duro. Platonic friendship between any of the three are fine. ⇝ Agron dying — either in battle or via suicide — in an attempt to find Duro in the afterlife (up to you if he succeeds!) or making a deal with a demon (Nasir, perhaps) in order to bring Duro back to life. ⇝ Any German (or Greco-Roman) folk tale applied to Agron; If you want to include Duro: maybe the two of them as the Brothers Grimm ⇝ Rather than coming back severely injured in S3, Agron died and either comes back as the living dead, some sort of reanimated Frankenstein’s Monster bastardization, or sold his soul — or bartered away one of his senses: eyesight or speech, perhaps? — in order to return to Nasir. NASIR ♡ I ship Nasir/Agron, Nasir/Duro/Agron. Platonic friendship between any of the three are fine. ⇝ Nasir as any type of supernatural creature ⇝ Nasir selling his soul — or bartering away one of his senses: eyesight or speech — in order to bring Agron back to him in S3 ⇝ pre-series S2, Nasir can’t take being a slave anymore and he (tries to?) kills himself, Agron (or Duro, or both) is the demon/Grimmreaper who comes to take him to the afterlife DURO ♡ I ship Duro/Nasir/Agron, Duro/Agron, Aucus/Duro. Platonic friendship between any of the three are fine. ⇝ Again, Germanic folklore would be an interesting choice if you’re going the trick route; he and Agron as the Brothers Grimm are an option, or maybe something Duro-specific where he’s The Boy Who Learned Fear. ⇝ Duro coming back as a zombie or ghost (that only Agron can see?) ⇝ Duro trying to figure out what he’s going to do for the rest of eternity with the Gods/hell/the afterlife because for the first time in his life he doesn’t have his brother by his side.

JUSTIFIED

RAYLAN GIVENS ♡ I ship Raylan/Boyd, Raylan/Tim, Raylan/Dickie. Platonic friendship between any of the three are fine. Bonus Art and Rachel are always welcome. ⇝ Reaper Raylan ⇝ Paranormal Marshall Raylan. Whether that means he’s in charge of making sure supes’ obey they law or if it’s his job to save innocent humans from them Supernatural-style is up to you. If you wanna go with the former: maybe Tim and Rachel are his partners. Or Boyd or Dickie are the ones he always has to lock up and chastise. If you’re going with the latter: maybe Boyd or Dickie is the one that he just cant bring himself to kill, or the one he cant catch. BOYD CROWDER ♡ I ship Boyd/Raylan. Platonic friendship between the two are fine. ⇝ Boyd comes from a long family of witches ⇝ Let’s be real, Boyd is creepy as fuck in general, so anything with supernatural!Boyd ⇝ Boyd died in an explosion-gone-wrong back when he was a teenager. Now he haunts said mine ⇝ Ryalan never existed, he’s just something Boyd made up to help cope with how terrible his family is TIM GUTTERSON ♡ I ship Tim/Raylan. Platonic friendship between the two are fine. ⇝ Werewolf clan Bennetts; possibly Dickie was always the runt of the litter ⇝ Dickie comes from a long line of Hunters — think Supernatural here — but he doesn’t want to go into the family business. It could due the the fact that he's got a soft spot for that (vamp? shifter? werewolf? whatever?) givens boy. ⇝ Dickie’s been haunted by this demon named Raylan his entire life. Nobody believes him. ⇝ Dickie prayed and prayed for baseball talent, and God never answered, so he found someone who would. His mama always told him that deals like his came at a price, but Dickie didn't believe her until Raylan busted up his leg. That was only the beginning.

THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS

LOCK ♡ I ship Lock/Barrel. Platonic friendship between the two are fine. ⇝ Kids in Halloween Town aren’t very supernatural at all, but once puberty hits they turn into whatever their costume has been. Lock turns into — either a or the — devil. The upsides and downsides to that; and how Barrel (and the town?) reacts to his friend becoming personified evil ⇝ Teenage life in Halloween Town ⇝ Halloween Town is actually afterlife: little kids pg-13 edition. Jack is the Hades and Lock is child who died. ⇝ The darker side of being one of Oogie’s Boys ⇝ A more realistically-horrible Halloween Town. The vampires and werewolves and ghosts aren’t all that fun when they’re actually out for your blood, especially when you’re just a kid who doesn’t seem all that paranormal. BARREL ♡ I ship Barrel/Lock. MICHELETTO ♡ I ship Micheletto/Pascal, Micheletto/Cesare. Platonic friendship between the three are fine. ⇝ Reaper Micheletto ⇝ Micheletto kills himself after he last helps Cesare, and explores the afterlife, since he’s 100% done with being alive after losing Pascal ⇝ Micheletto is so lonely, and he asks for nothing of his own, but one day he just can’t take it anymore, so he goes to a witch and asks for a [soulmate, supernatural slave, whatever] and the witch gives him Pascal (or Cesare, or an OMC! if you prefer). CESARE BORGIA ♡ I ship Cesare/Micheletto. Platonic friendship between the two are fine. ⇝ The Pope puts Cesare in charge of his Hunting army, and it’s his duty to kill any supernatural beings that go against God. Micheletto could possibly be his assistant or a demon he binds to himself as a servant ⇝ All the Borgias are Demons who manage to infiltrate the Holy Church ⇝ Cesare knows how badly his father wants to become pope, so he makes a deal with the devil (Micheletto?) to make it happen. After a couple of years, the devil comes back to collect his payment PASCAL ♡ I ship Pascal/Micheletto. Platonic friendship between the two are fine. ⇝ Ghost!Pascal haunts Micheletto for the rest of his days ⇝ Pascal as a succubus

PENNY DREADFUL

VICTOR FRANKENSTEIN ♡ I ship Victor/Proteus, Victor/Ethan. Platonic Friendship between the three are fine. Victor/Dorian is also okay. ⇝ Victor has less humanitarian reasons for making monsters. Sex slaves, personal army, whatever: up to you. ⇝ Victor isn’t just a creator, he’s a Monster as well. Something happened as a child where he either died and was randomly reanimated by the sheer will of god — therefore why he’s so obsessed with the line between life and death — or he managed to save himself just in the knick of time. He’s been alive for years but it’s just now that he’d figured out how to repeat the process that made him immortal. ⇝ Victor dies — cause of death doesn’t matter, could be murder or he died of old age due to natural causes — and death is wonderful and peaceful, until he’s ripped back into the world of the living as somebody else’s Monster ⇝ Victor is turned into some sort of supernatural creature ⇝ Victor is a rogue demon who makes deals with people in shitty situations (Caliban, Proteus; possibly Ethan also?). He promises to help their loved ones in return for their lives and he always collects. He kills then and then brings them back to life with their memories erased and forces them to be his companions until the end of time. PROTEUS ♡ I ship Proteus/Victor. Platonic Friendship between the two are fine. ⇝ Victor brings Proteus back to life for a second time ⇝ Proteus meets Victor while he’s still alive. He decides to abandon his family in order to help a brilliant man defy the laws of nature ⇝ Being brought back to life fucked up the course of Proteus’ life. Now he’s forever chained — soulbonded? — to Victor, forced to be reborn when Victor is reborn and his life is always horrible (illness? poverty? never finds love?) until he reunites with Victor. Bonus points if Proteus always remembers their past lives, but Victor never does.
